"ACE" CH HR Amani’s Top Gun MH WCX

Ace is out of the last litter by Ann Mortenson before her untimely death in October of 2004.  Ann had high hopes for this breeding (Hawk x Binti) and Ace seems to be living up to her hope of producing excellent working dogs that are true to type who would do well in the field and in the show ring.    In addition to his field and conformation accomplishments, Ace is beginning to prove himself as a producer with three young litters that are showing great promise.  Click here to see a list of Ace's notable offspring.

"CHARM" CH HR Amani Bedazzled MH WCX

Charm is Ace’s very naughty, very talented sister.  Perfectly named, Charm charms everyone she meets even when she is being bad.  Talented in the field, Charm earned her SH in October, 2006, then spent that December and January with our good friend and talented handler Lisa Bettis, where she quickly and easily finished her show championship.  Charm then resumed her field training, completed her HR in April, 2007 and went on to earn her Master Hunter title in October of 2007.  Charm took time off from field work to become a mother.  Charm was bred to Milo (CH Gamekeepers Time and The Bell CD CGC) and gave birth to a litter of 7 lovely puppies on February 18, 2009.  Then she was bred to Ajax (CH Grousemoor Double Trouble JH WCX) and had 5 boy pups on May 30, 2010.  Now back out in the field, Charm keeps in shape running in Master.  She qualified for and passed the 2011 Master National and has already qualified to run the 2012 Master National.  She is a very special girl!

"REMIE" CH Bear C'ntry Hob-B Reminiscent MH WCX

Remie, was bred by and is co-owned with our friends Clint and Sherie Catledge.  Knowing that Mitch was in need of another good master dog, they offered him Remie to train and run as co-owner.  Remie finished up her Senior on June 10, 2007.  Remie then took some time off training to raise her litter with Ace ( born April 6, 2008).  Once her motherhood duties were over, she got right back in the field and earned her Master title on May 3, 2009.  Remie now spends her time as Mitch's primary pheasant hunting dog.  She has an outstanding nose and is a favorite guiding at the local hunt clubs.  Visit Clint and Sherie at WWW.BEARCOUNTRYFCR.COM

"PURDEY" Gamekeepers Side By Side (CH Pointed)

Purdey is the result of a breeding combining some of the finest conformation and working dogs produced by Gamekeepers and by others in the breed.  She is also Charm's only daughter (Charm gave us 12 puppies - 11 of them boys!!).  Purdey is a lovely girl with beautiful movement, a lovely silhouette and correct coat.  She is also a great marking dog with a lot of drive.  Circumstances have dictated that we move Purdey into our breeding program earlier than anticipated.  We are very excited about her puppies with Diggor.  After her litter, she will go back to the show ring to finish her CH and will be running in Junior.

"PRINCE CHARMING" Gamekeepers Prince Charming

Like his Grandmother Charm, Prince Charming "charmed" his way into Maria's heart.  The only male pup born in the Purdey x Diggor litter, he was supposed to go to another home, but his actions made it very clear that he needed to stay right here at Gamekeepers.  He is everything a little Prince should be...handsome, sweet natured, outgoing and fun.  We are looking forward to watching his future unfold.
